Yesterday, I went to set up some things, and noticed that a set of my rechargable batteries weren't working. I'd just charged them, so I checked their output. Um... Let's just say they weren't happy. So I checked another set...and another... Turns out that they're capable of powering some of my lower-spec devices, but not the better stuff.

Like my bluetooth keyboards...

I got some new batteries, threw them into my Magic Keyboard 1...and it came to life instantly. So... Yeah. If it seems like your Apple wireless keyboard has died, maybe toss in some fresh batteries and see if that helps. 2+ year old batteries might not be enough to power it.
